Mohammad Nadeem, after years of hard work in Saudi Arabia, returned to his rural hometown in Pasrur, Sialkot District, in 2017. He quickly identified the lack of quality educational institutions as a major challenge in his community. Determined to make a difference, Mohammad Nadeem purchased a property and established a school in the area. He and the dedicated teachers worked tirelessly to improve the educational standards, providing the children with an environment where they could learn and grow. However, despite their best efforts, the school’s student strength remained low due to the lack of transportation options. The surrounding villages, situated 5-10 kilometers away, were too far for young children to travel on foot.
To address this, Nadeem sought financial support from U Bank, securing a 2 million rupee Sarmaya-e-Taleem Loan, which enabled him to purchase a coaster and provide much-needed transport services for the children.
Today, the school is thriving, with more students enrolled thanks to the reliable transportation. Nadeem’s initiative has not only improved access to education in his area but has also inspired the community by demonstrating the impact of financial support in transforming lives. Mohammad Nadeem credits U Bank for their quick loan processing and unwavering support, which allowed him to turn his vision into reality. His story is a powerful example of how financial inclusion can drive positive change, particularly in rural areas where access to quality education is often limited.
