Mr. Hatem Bamatraf is a seasoned telecommunications executive with over 30 years of experience in management and leadership roles around Middle East and the Asia region. He is currently serving as the President & Group CEO of Pakistan Telecommunication Company
Limited (PTCL) and Ufone.
Mr. Hatem started his professional career with the Etisalat Group in 1995 as an engineer in its mobile team and steadily rose through the ranks to assume higher roles. In 2007, he joined Telecom Company, du heading the Network Development and later as head of Enterprise Business Unit.
Earlier, he had a 3 years stint at Mobily, Saudi Arabia where he was part of the launch team of the company. His last role was Chief Technology Officer at Etisalat Group, a position he held for over 8 years till assuming his new role as the Head of PTCL Group in Pakistan. He has also served as the Board of Directors in a number of Etisalat group affiliates. Currently he is the Board member of e& Money & Universal Service Fund.
He is a graduate of the Etisalat College of Engineering and holds a Bachelor degree of
Engineering in Communication. He is also an INSEAD Executive Business School graduate.
Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Khan is Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), and Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also a member of the Accounting Standards Board of the Institute of Chartered Accou ntants of Pakistan (ICAP).
Mr. Khan started his career in 1995 with AF Ferguson & Co Chartered Accountants. Mr. Khan has total over 30 years of working experience with leading organizations including Millicom Cambodia’s International, Millicom Luxembourg and Etisalat. He is currently working as Group CFO of PTCL group.
Mr. Khan is Non-Executive Director on the Board of U Microfinance Bank Limited (U Bank).
Mr. Aqueel Malik brings over two decades of extensive global experience in strategic planning and management across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from INSEAD (France), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from GIKI (Pakistan).
Mr. Malik commenced his professional journey in 1999 with ABN AMRO Global IT Systems and currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Management/ International at e& Group, UAE.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malik has held senior leadership positions across the telecommunications, banking, and consulting sectors. His expertise spans a wide range of business functions, including strategy development, investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), finance, sales and marketing, and information technology (IT).
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Malik serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of U Microfinance Bank Limited (U Bank).
Syed Atif Raza is a seasoned telecom executive with over 25 years of experience, including 20 years in telecom across B2C/B2B markets, pricing, digital transformation, mergers & acquisitions, and performance optimization. He holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and a Electronics/Telecom Engineering degree from UET.
Currently, as CMO & GCCO of PTCL Group, he has driven Ufone to achieve highest mobile industry growth (2023-2024), doubled Fiber revenue, and revitalized the group’s digital ecosystem, including a unified self-care app with 2x subscriber growth.
Previously, as Executive Director at Zong, he delivered industry-leading revenue growth supported by growth in subscribers & market share and transformed digital channels. At Jazz (VEON), he led critical projects including the Jazz-Warid merger and 4G spectrum acquisition, while part of group performance transformation team across 15+ markets.
Mr. Raza’s expertise spans strategic mergers, digital innovation, and market leadership, with a proven track record in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and international collaborations with firms like McKinsey and Bain.

Ms. Melike Kara Tanrikulu is a fintech leader with over 20 years of experience in digital financial services. She holds a B.S degree in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University and also completed executive programs at IMD Business School and Harvard Business School.
Currently, she is the CEO of e& money, the fintech arm of e& Group (formerly Etisalat) in Dubai, where she is transforming the platform into a leading fintech app with services like prepaid cards and instant remittance.
Previously, as the founding CEO of Paycell (Turkcell’s fintech arm in Turkey), she launched a suite of financial products, including digital wallets, micro-lending, and BNPL, growing the business to 10 million customers with a highly profitable lending operation.
Ms. Tanrikulu has also served as Head of Product at Garanti Bank and as a Senior Associate at PwC, advising banking and payment companies. Her expertise lies in fintech innovation, digital transformation, and ecosystem development.

Ms. Saima Ahad is a seasoned civil servant with over 20 years of experience in public sector governance, legal affairs, development and public administration.
She holds an L.L.M. degree in International Law from the U.S. and Diploma in Development Economics from Japan.
Currently she is serving as Joint Secretary (Development) at the Ministry of IT & Telecom, she oversees key initiatives in technology and telecom development. Her career reflects a strong commitment to good governance and change management in the public sector.

Mr. Shahid Hosain Kazi is a senior executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in banking, fintech, and digital transformation. He holds an MBA from IBA Karachi and has held senior roles at Habib Metropolitan Bank, Bank Alfalah, Emirates Bank, and FINCA Microfinance Bank, where he led the launch of Pakistan’s first MNO-agnostic mobile wallet, SimSim.
He currently serves as CEO of Rozee.pk, Pakistan’s largest career platform, where he has driven innovation through RozeeGPT, an AI-powered recruitment solution, and Rizq by Rozee, a financial wellness app. He brings deep expertise in strategy, governance, and digital innovation to the Board of U Microfinance Bank Limited (U Bank).
Ms. Maleeha Bangash has over 26 years of experience obtained in Asia Pacific, South Asia & Turkiye, primarily in Banking & Financial Services. Since the past 7 years she has been engaged in various capacities with IFC/World Bank Group in areas of, Investment Climate, Digital Banking, Digital transformation & Gender Banking, Climate(Green)Finance. She has also served as Member/Commissioner Competition Commission of Pakistan and as Ambassador SME Finance Forum, Washington (A G20 initiative managed by IFC). She has obtained MBA Marketing & Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and an MBA in Investment & Finance from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
Ms. Bangash brings 19 years of top leadership, C-Suite experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, Mergers & Acquisitions, SME Banking, Development Finance, Digital Banking & FinTech in South Asia & East Asia Pacific. Currently, she is involved in establishment of a regional FinTech Innovation Hub and Ecosystem in East Asia.
She is an Independent Director on the Board of U Microfinance Bank Limited (U Bank).
