No, there is no tax applicable on Home Remittance.
Conversion rates will be applied at the time of sending the remittance. The sender needs to confirm the rates with the affiliated bank or Exchange Company at the time of sending the remittance.
The beneficiary may obtain payment by presenting a NADRA token or by any other valid identity document such as a passport, driving license, etc. In case the beneficiary does not have any document other than CNIC then by changing his or her name to a relative’s name in order to receive the remittance amount if the beneficiary’s Identity document has expired.
Sending a home remittance that is $100 or more is free if the sending entity is using the free send model. If not, the sending entity will notify you of any charges.
Only the remitting side may make amendments or corrections to the transaction. Kindly contact your sender to make the necessary corrections.
