Furqan Ali, a resident of Nawabshah has been in the tailoring business for the past 10 years. When he started his shop on Hussaini Road with just a single machine to his name, he faced significant barriers and obstacles in sustaining himself. However, it was four years ago when a representative from U Bank was visiting the market to inform the local businesses about the bank’s loan facility which Furqan saw as a way to realize his decade long dream of expanding his tailoring business.

Through his first loan he was able to get an additional two machines and hire more workers. He has now been a U Bank customer for four years and expanded to two work houses, seven sewing machines and has hired a dedicated staff. Through the loans he has not only expanded his existing tailoring business, but also stitches uniforms and provides them all over Nawabshah, For Furqan, the dream isn’t over yet and he wants to re-apply for bigger loan to grow his business.

It wasn’t just Furqan’s business that the benefits; due to sustainable growth of his business and revenues, he has gotten himself married and was also able to get two of his siblings married
