When Saleem first applied to U Bank for a loan, he didn’t have any land. He only had a few animals in a rented pen and struggled financially. It was then that he started inquiring about the loan from a U Bank representative. Through his first loan he was able to buy, feed and later sell additional livestock.

Currently in his 4th loan cycle, Saleem has been able to grow his livestock business considerably. He has been able to enroll all three of his children in school.

For Saleem what has left the most impact, has been the level of cooperation, guidance and respect he encountered throughout his journey as a U Bank customer. He has gone on to recommend other people in need to the bank as well.
